Mikael Johandy- President

• Mikael brings over 25 years of experience and knowledge to the team as president and owner of IME. He made his start as an elevator engineer at KBM-Elevators in Sweden in 1982. Once KONE acquired KBM in 93’, Mikael joined KONE’s engineer team in Linkoping Sweden.

• During his time with KONES, Mikael broadened his expertise and worked with modernization, advanced repairs, new building and maintenance on all elevator brands existing in the district until 2003. He then joined the MacGregor organization as a senior marine elevator engineer and focused mostly on annual inspections.

• In 2005 KONE (Marine Elevators LLC) acquired MacGregor, in which Mikael was promoted to sales project manager. During his time as sales project manager he was responsible for budgets as well as the

Sven Vikstrom- Sales and Project Manager

• Sven first worked as an apprentice for new installation of elevators at KONE Hissar AB Sweden in 1975. He continued at KONE with modernization, repair and as a troubleshooter until 93’. He then joined KONE’s R&D department in Sweden.

• In 1999 Sven started to work with MacGregor Passenger Ship Division as service coordinator. During his time with MacGregor as well as KONE Marine, since they acquired MacGregor in 05’, Sven worked as elevator Sr. service engineer onboard cruise ships for both companies. His hard work and dedication to KONE Marine was evident and he received the spare part manager position in 2006.

• Sven brought his knowledge and dedication to the IME team in 2010 when he was appointed sales and project manager.

Seija Palomies- Service Manager

• Seija brings her sharp leadership skills and experience to the IME team. She first started as a service clerk with elevator maintenance at Otis Hissi Oy. When Valmet’s Elevator Factory was acquired by Otis, Seija continued at Valmet Otis as the managing director’s assistant until 1988.

• She then joined Schinder and worked as the elevator installation and maintenance coordinator.

• In 2003, Seija was appointed as the service coordinator at MacGregor Passenger Ship Division as well as KONE Marine, after they acquired MacGregor in 2005. During her time with KONE, Seija flourished at her position until 2009.

Sarah Ward- Marketing/Receptionist

• Sarah contributes 4 years of experience in the marketing field to IME. She made her start as an office assistant/receptionist for a fast paced and growing NASCAR company, Kenny’s Components in 2006.

• She then started her career in marketing as a team member of the promotions and fan development department of the NHL Carolina Hurricanes organization.

• Since then, Sarah has worked on marketing teams for several companies in the sports and entertainment industry as well as food and beverage, performing and executing marketing strategies.

• Sarah also brings experience in tradeshow marketing capabilities to IME, where she was appointed a position in marketing/receptionist in 2011.
